CE MACHINE: Case Study
In December of 2012, CE Machine in Wichita purchased 3 oil/mist separators (the 3Nine Clara units) to address their plant air quality issues.
The machines were installed on the CNC machines that were the worst offenders.
On the last day of July 2013, a follow up call was made on CE where Kansas Filtration Account Manager, Bruce Donley, spoke with CNC machine operator, Will.
Will has been very pleased with the performance of the 3Nine unit.
He has observed that the overall plant air quality is much better. A lot less smoke and "fog" in the air.
After 7 months of operation, the HEPA filter has not needed changing, due to the fact that 99% of the mist is separated out and returned to the sump. In fact, very little maintenance has been required...only rinsing the chips off of the screen leading into the unit.
Saving time on maintenance, changing filters and the cost of buying filters has been a major benefit to this machine.
